About the Old Robinites Association

The Old Robinites Association was founded in 1960 with the simple objective of helping members - anyone who had been in Robinites while at Charterhouse - to keep in touch and share common interests. Among the founding members were Marcus Colby, Sir George Labouchere and Bill Blackstone. They instituted an annual dinner, which has been held in London - usually on the second Tuesday in May - ever since.

Today, the officers of the ORA include: President - Brian Goodliffe R51; Chairman - Nigel Legge R75; Hon Secretary - Nick Fitzherbert R75; and Hon Treasurer - Ivan Fitzherbert R77.
